Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to vinyl mine (vinylmine.shop). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any physical goods (including organic apparel and vinyl records) from our online storefront. [5]

By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to all of these terms, please do not use this website. [1]

1. Company Information

This website is operated by vinyl mine. Our physical retail storefront and head office is located in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. For any inquiries, you can reach us directly via email at we@vinylmine.shop. [1]

2. Contract Formation & Orders

  • Order Acceptance: When you place an order on our storefront, it constitutes an offer to purchase. A legally binding contract is only formed when we dispatch your items and send you a Shipment Confirmation email. [6, 7]

  • Pricing & Corrections: We make every effort to ensure pricing on our site is accurate. In the rare event of an obvious technical error or mispricing, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund before dispatch. [6, 8]

  • Obligation to Pay: By clicking the checkout/order confirmation button, you explicitly acknowledge your obligation to pay for the selected items and any relevant cross-border fees. [8, 9]

3. Shipping, Fulfillment, & Customs

  • Free Shipping: We provide 100% free standard outbound shipping on all orders globally.

  • Fulfillment Centers: Our printing and apparel fulfillment systems dynamically route orders to international hubs (UK, EU, USA, and Japan) to ensure localized delivery and minimize customs exposure.

  • Cross-Border Duties & Fees: If a specific product or rare vinyl record variant crosses a national border, the customer is the importer of record. You are solely responsible for paying any local import duties, customs tariffs, or local taxes (VAT/GST) levied upon entry. If a shipment is rejected due to unpaid customs charges, carrier return fees will be deducted from your final refund amount. [6, 8]

4. Statutory Cancellation & Returns (Your Legal Rights)

Our terms comply fully with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act 2015. [10, 11]

  • 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of physical delivery without providing a reason.

  • Our Extended 30-Day Policy: We extend this window to 30 days from delivery for change-of-mind returns or sizing exchanges.

  • Vinyl Records Exemption: In accordance with UK consumer law exceptions for sealed audio recordings, vinyl records cannot be returned for a change of mind if they have been unsealed, opened, or played after delivery. They must remain factory-sealed to qualify for a standard return.

  • Apparel Conditions: All garments must be returned unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags attached.

  • Return Shipping Fees: Changing your mind and returning items for a direct refund incurs a flat processing and restocking fee (£6 for up to 5 items; £10 for over 5 items) which is deducted from your refund amount. Returns initiated for Store Credit or Size Exchanges are 100% free. [2, 3, 4, 7, 12]

5. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods

If any product arrives damaged, misprinted, or faulty, you are completely protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. [10]

  • Please notify us at we@vinylmine.shop with photos of the defect.

  • If a fault is verified within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a 100% full refund (with no deduction fees) or a free replacement. [12, 13]

6. Intellectual Property & Brand Rights

All content displayed on this website—including logos, product graphics, custom streetwear designs, typography, art assets, and textual content—is the exclusive intellectual property of vinyl mine and artist Bodie Cameron. You may not reproduce, download, or copy our artwork or imagery for commercial use without express written consent. [6, 10]

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977: [14]

  • vinyl mine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or business interruptions resulting from shipping carrier delays. [8]

  • Risk of loss and product ownership transfers directly to you once the package is officially delivered by the carrier to your specified shipping address. We are not liable for packages stolen after a successful delivery confirmation. [7]

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes arising from your purchases will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. [1, 11, 14]
