I met Doom on a beach, I was about to start painting a character of him, he looked through my black book and said some very encouraging words. He asked "what are you going to paint?" I said "I'm going to paint you." He said "that's not me, that's Doom,  I'm Daniel."

He wasn't wearing his mask, we shook hands on that and he pootled off to get on a boat with the Channel One Soundsystem.

My favourite Hip Hop moment and my favourite Hip Hop artist. So here is my tribute to you. RIP Daniel Dumille.
